packed and ready to go

Well darlings,I got everything packed and ready to go.
We leave for the V.A hospital Monday morning at 7 a.m.I don't know if we will have to stay or not, they just said come ready to stay in case they go on and decide to do surgery on both of Bubba's legs!I feel like we are closer as it has been some long weeks for him with injured legs since he returned home.
Not a lot has gotton done, art or anything, but thats o.k cause he is home, alive and safe!
it has been a wonderful homecoming with family and friends in and out but the sadness and grieving for what he has been threw has been heavy on my heart, knowing he has been in pain and the nightmares and there was nothing I could do so I am happy we are close to getting the surgery done.
I feel like once he can walk good again and not just be stuck in the house he will be better.
We pulled out his 68 Chevy truck and his dirt bike so he could see them.
The first thing he wont's to do when he is back on his feet is finish up restoring them.
keep us in y'alls prayers and I will let you know after Monday what they decide to do.We may be back or not just depends.Everyone have a wonderful week end and working on art n gardens.

November comes
And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.

With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.

The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.

Oh,heres the jerky recipe
We use beef and venison both b y'all can use any kind ,turkey, rabbit or what ever.
In a big old bowl mix up your marinating.
3 cups whistersire sauce
2 cups soy sauce
sugar to taste,we use brown sugar about 1 cup
katchup ,about 1 cup,
pinch of salt,to taste add hot sauce, garlic and any other spices y'all wont.
Add your meat thats been sliced real thin.
I only make jerky in the cold winter cause we always used MaMa's old drying pans and used the smoke house but last Christmas the younin's bought me a dehiderator .
Anyway mix up your meat and marinating real good and let sat a spell like overnight in referigator ,mix up again then add it to your drying pans or dehiderator.

Attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning,
looked in the mirror,
and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.

Well," she said, "I think I'll braid my hair today?"
So she did and she had
a
wonderful
day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror
and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.

"H-M-M," she said,
"I think I'll part my hair down the middle today?"
So she did
and she had
a
grand
day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.

"Well," she said,
"today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail."
So she did
and she had
a
fun,
fun
day.

The next day she woke up,
looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.

"YEA!" she exclaimed,
"I don't have to fix my hair today!"

Attitude is everything.

Be kinder than necessary,

for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

Leave the rest to God

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain.
