The bottle tree & Earth Angels Folk Art

After being on the International Folk Art circuit for several years I decided to retire from it because it seemed as if I was painting and not enjoying it the way I used to, Then several months ago I found Earth Angels and what a joy and delight to see folk art that was ooak, fun and whimisical. The art so inspired and got my creativite juices flowing.

Threw Earth Angels I have found and discovered Altered Art and it is so wounderful to be creating again and enjoying my art.

I am still doing my folk art paintings but I am thinking of makeing some changes to my style.

I love Jen's artist so stop by and see them,

Her Angels so imspired me that I created a bottle tree next to my newley planted vegetable garden and added a metal pink flamingo to my little flower garden.

Here is a few new photos to share,The bottle tree, my flower garden and one of MaMa's vintage handmade Christmas balls.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love how the "blog" world can connect so many artists. I am struggling with the same issues as an artist...loving what you do and trying to sell it can be a very difficult balance. Christmas this year almost put me over the edge.
Regards,
Lisa

I thoroughly enjoy your work. I have a coffeehouse and folkart gallery in the Pacific Northwest and love being able to offer folk art to those who enjoy it. I also am a folk artist and it is very trying to try and sell my art! I do love it and fortunately my house is large enough to hold a lot of my favorite pieces. I just started my own blog a few months ago for the coffeehouse and hope you will visit it and my websites to see my work. Keep up the good work and if you ever get over here to Clinton please stop in. In the meantime if you would like to display some of your paintings here at my coffeehouse I really think they would fit. I can be found at rockhoppersdailygrind.blogspot.com
Talk at ya soon. Rene
