I am a grandmother of 10 and a mother of 10,After a life or being a sharecroppers daughter and a artist I am now retired to enjoy my grands and children.I love walking, long fall days, reading and just enjoying life
Hi Sweetie! Oh your mama's pickels sound heavenly! Could ya take some pics of them? Maybe share the recipe? I am putting up pickles soon. I do my Mom's bread and butters...mmmmm yum! So sorry to read about the ID theft hon...glad they caught the person. That is so scarey. A erson can't be too careful these days. I have been so busy. Looking for work now. Still have your package and find stuff to add to it! I am adding fabric as I get it cleaned out from my Mom's stash. Found some great old doily pieces. Stop by soon on my blog...I miss ya! Love, Jenny xxxooo
Hi, Glad you could take a break from canning and come visit again. I canned when all the younguns' were home. It was a hot job... but it gave me such a good feeling to see all the jars lined up on the shelves ready for winter. Now we just buy from the grocery store. We don't plant a big garden anymore. If I could get enough tomatoes I would still can some of them. I like my own canned tomatoes in soup. We have plenty of green tomatoes, but for some reason it is taking them forever to ripen.
Chirstmas pickles. First Christmas in July post I've seen. I don't think I have ever seen Red Pickles or tasted them b/4. Hope everything is going great for you and they find that thief. That is awful. Sorry that has happened to you. Have a Lovely Evening!
