Hi hon, Beautiful vintage pics. They have such a story don't they. What a lovley day planned for you with your grandchildren. Nothing like diggin in the sacred earth to plant and having your grand- babies nearby to help! What will you be be puttin' in this year? Do you plant okra Jessie? I love the okra, and my sil pickles them so nice. Haven't had good luck growing cukes the past few summers...they don't flower. Spring is not far away! God is Good! Bless you dear one. Love,kr

Hey There!

I love those old pictures. I have seen that in my lifetime. I helped an old farmer figure up the pounds and the amount to be paid to each cotton picker. Never picked any cotton, myself, except just for fun. And I only remember chopping a row of corn for my uncle once. We didn't know it, but he was keeping us occupied, while my baby brother was being born back at the house...LOL

Have fun putting that garden in. Enjoy the grandchildren!!

Luv-n-hugs!

Jessie,

Popping in on you..:)

Enjoy the grandkids! I think I'm going to wait another 3 or 4 weeks before I plant anything - also, still waiting on the Scuppernong vines that I ordered.

The pics above are very good, I can't wait until it's time to work in the garden.

Have a good week.
